Philanthropy in Challenging Times: What’s Keeping Us Up At Night & Our Role in Facilitating Good

  • Thursday, June 22, 2023
  • 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Sarasota Yacht Club

The Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida, Association of Fundraising Professionals of Southwest Florida, and the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council invite you to an all-female panel moderated by Susie Bowie, President/CEO of William G. and Marie Selby Foundation. Please join us for a conversation about Philanthropy in Challenging Times: What’s Keeping Us Up At Night & Our Role in Facilitating Good.

This is a time of great challenge and possibility. The roles of gift planner and advisor come with unique responsibility and opportunities to help our organizations and clients/donors adapt to change. Whether it’s market volatility, the local transfer of wealth, sudden changes in nonprofit governance at age-old institutions, changing demographics in our area, or the essential nature of inclusion in our work, our knowledge of important issues is called for as we help to guide decisions about giving that last beyond a lifetime.

We look forward to welcoming wealth advisors, fundraising professionals, attorneys, CPAs, trust officers, and any guests interested in this special program to the Sarasota Yacht Club!
